CISCE Exam

The candidates who are preparing for CISCE Class IX and XI annual exams, we have some good news for you. According to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), the board will conduct the annual examination for class IX and XI in the month of February 2019. The CISCE has 2,100 affiliated schools under its aegis. However, in the hills, the examinations will be held in November.

On July 25, the CISCE issue a circular where it has stated that students will take their English Language paper on February 11, English Literature on February 12, History and Civics on February 13, Geography on February 14, Economics on February 15, Mathematics on February 18, Physics on February 20, Commercial Studies on February 21, Chemistry on February 22 and Biology on February 25. The Class XI examinations begin on February 1 with English Language paper. English Literature will be held on February 4, Mathematics on February 5, History on February 6, Physics on February 7, Commerce on February 8, Chemistry on February 11, Geography on February 12, Accounts on February 13, Biology on February 14, Sociology on February 15, Economics on February 18, Computer Science on February 19, Political Science on February 20, Business Studies on February 21 and Psychology on February 22.

There are 17 schools affiliated to CISCE in Patna which includes Mt Carmel High School, DBA, International School, St Xavier’s High School, St Joseph’s Convent High School at Bankipore and Jethuli, Jesus and Mary Academy, St Paul’s High School, St Albert’s High School, Christ Church School, St John’s High School, Rose Bud School, St MG Public School, Red Carpet High School and Bishop’s Heritage School among others. Mary Alphonsa, principal of Don Bosco Academy, said it is for the first time that the annual exam will be conducted on board examination pattern and the schoolteachers will be less burdened as the papers will be set up by the CISCE.
