The All India Council for Technical Education has declared the results of Common Management Admission Test, CMAT, 2018 on February 15th, 2018 after 7.30 pm. The result was declared on the official website, i.e. aicte-cmat.in. Although, the council rescheduled the timing twice before it was formally announced. The online registration process for CMAT 2018 began on 20th October 2017 and was concluded on 25th December 2017.
All the final year students of graduate courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before the commencement of the admission of the new academic year can apply for CMAT 2018. The student must be a citizen of India to enroll for this exam. Apart from this, graduate from any discipline can apply for the CMAT 2018 examination.
Last year, it was informed that if more than one candidate secures the same ranking as per the above criteria, the same Rank will be assigned to all of them but will be displayed by sorting their names alphabetically. The Rank of the subsequent candidate will then be extended by the number of additional students having the same Rank.
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
The CMAT is a three-hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate’s ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.
The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges.
