Considering the heavy rainfall and flash flood warnings issued by the Indian Meteorological Department in Telangana, the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad has stopped all the exams which were scheduled to be conducted today. The remaining exams however will be conducted as per schedule from September 28, 2021.
Circular Issued by University
According to the circular issued by JNTUH registrars the principals of all the constituent and affiliated colleges of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad offering Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses have been informed to note that considering the bad weather and heavy rainfall and taking into account the requests from many rural college principals, the B.Tech. B.Pharm/ Pharm.D, Pharm D (PB) Regular and Supplementary Exams of the university scheduled for September 27, 2021, have been postponed. The revised schedule of the exams will be released soon.
An FFR alert was issued for Telangana by the IMD Hyderabad for the next 24 hours where it was stated that districts like Asifabad, Adilabad, Bhuvanagiri, Badradri, Kothagudem, Peddapalli Karimnagar, Jayashankar Bhupalpalle, Nirmal, Rajanna Siricilla, Warangal, Khammam, Jagtial, Mancherial, Mulugu, Janagoan, and Mahbubabad can expect flash floods in the next 24 hours.
