DU Admission 2019: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has written a letter to the Delhi University regarding the admission process that will be going on in the university soon. There has been some confusion in the domain that the revaluation process of CBSE and the DU admission are going to have a goof up. The students who have appeared for the CBSE exam and applied for the revaluation process have been left with a lot more confusion.
As the confusion popped up in the domain regarding revaluation of the CBSE, the students got to think its possible impacts on DU admission. To remove all th doubts, the board has written a letter to the Registrar of the Delhi University to align the UG admission process as per the schedule fixed by the board. The date of revaluation announced by CBSE is 24 may and on the same date, DU is supposed to start admission process. This clash of dates has been a cause of worry for the students.
The CBSE board declared the class 12th result earlier this year as compared to the result of previous years. The board was following the order of the high court that directed the board to complete the evaluation process before the admission process of DU starts. The board took merely 28 days to declare the result which is a record in itself. The board has declared the result even before the result of ICSE board. The CBSE class 12th exams have started from 15 February and it ended on 3 April.
In a statement released by the board, it said, "CBSE will be completing its re-evaluation process also at the earliest. Now, Delhi University has to fix the last date of submission of application form for admission in Delhi University in such a manner that the work of re-evaluation is over prior to the last date of Delhi University admission process."
