NIOS D.El.Ed.: A number of Fake D.El.Ed Certificates have been caught by NIOS. And the teachers found in possession of these certificates will be losing their jobs. One of the regional centres of NIOS found these fake certificates and many candidates have been spotted with fake certificates. It is important to know that NIOS provides D.El.Ed. course for the candidates who have secured a minimum of 50 percent marks in class 12th exam. Those who are below 50 percent marks in class 12 are not eligible to apply for the course.

The candidates who want to pursue the course need to submit the marks sheet and the NIOS conducts an internal investigation of the certificates. While investigating, the board found many fake certificates of the same. The candidates who have scored below 50 percent marks in class 12th, got fake certificates showing that they have got the marks as indicated by the board. The board allowed them admission and later on, it was found that they have used fake certificates.

As per the officials, nearly two hundred such teachers have been found who have forged the documents. NIOS has decided to cancel the D.El. Ed. certificates of these teachers. These alleged teachers have got their fake certificates of class 12th from the same board i.e. Board of Higher Secondary Education, New Delhi. Apart from getting fake certificates, these teachers have also made an affidavit of this fake board and submitted it to the NIOS. Now, the information of these teachers will be sent from Regional Office Patna to NIOS Delhi. These teachers have passed the D.El.Ed. in 2017-19. These teachers are working in private schools for a few years.
