The Goa board of secondary and higher secondary education has informed officials of different schools across the state that the Class 12th public examination might be conducted from March 1st to March 25th, 2019. These examinations are has been tentatively slotted for March month next year. Similarly, the Class 10th examination is likely to be held from April 2nd, 2019 to April 22nd, 2019. It has been observed that the tentative dates for the 2019 examinations are quite similar to the examination held this year. As per the sources, the procedure of accepting applications from students who wish to appear in the 2019 exam will begin soon. If numbers are to be believed then, 20,000 students appear for the Class 10th public exam, while close to 18,000 answers the Class 12 exam each year.
The result for the Class 10th or SSC examination and the HSC or Class 12th Examination 2018 was declared in the month of April and May respectively. The Goa Board 2018 Class 12th result was declared on 28th April 2018 and the class 10th result was declared on 25th May 2018. All the students received their result which helped them getting admission in the colleges and streams of their choice.
This year, HSSC Goa Board Examinations, about 18,499 students registered. Out of this, 4,321 were Arts candidates, 5,595 were Commerce candidates. A total of 5,728 students registered for Science stream exam whereas 2,855 were registered in the Vocational examination.
