Goa Board Result 2018: The wait is finally over for the students who were waiting for the Goa Board GBSHSE HSSC (12th) Results 2018. The Goa board has declared Class 12 Results 2018 today. Now that the Goa Board Results 2018 are live, the students can check the scorecards on the official website of the board i.e. gbshse.gov.in. It is very important for the students to save the PDF copy of the scorecard and take some photo copies of the same for future references. The examination was held across 16 centres and started at 10 am each day. Strict measures were taken by the Board this year and candidates who arrived more than half-an-hour late after the exam started were not allowed to enter the exam hall. No student was allowed to leave the examination hall before 11 am.

This year, the board exams for Class 12 students began on March 5 and ended on March 26. The exams for vocational stream students were conducted from March 6 to March 17, 2018. In 2017, the Goa HSSC Exam Results were announced in April. Previously, around 40 thousand students sat for the HSSC and SSC exams held by the GBSHSE Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in 2017. Last year, out of total 16,521 students who had appeared for the exam, 14,666 cleared it and only 2,064 had failed. The pass percentage was 89 per cent. As per the GBSHSE, the stream-wise passing percentage last year was: 88.12 per cent for Science, 87.53 per cent for Arts, 96.70 per cent for Commerce and 88.15 per cent for Vocational. As many as 8,739 girls and 8,162 boys had appeared for the exams which were conducted from March 1, 2017 and ended on March 22.

This year, nearly 18,499 students appeared for the GBSHSE exams in March. With thousands of students checking their Class 12 Results online simultaneously, the board website may face some technical glitches.
