Goa SSC Result 2021 Update: Finally, the Goa State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GSBSHSE) has formally announced the evaluation criteria for Goa SSC Result 2021 that are expected by the students in the coming days. The Goa Class 10 Result evaluation criteria was finalized by the GSBSHSE executive committee which met on 29th May – Saturday and announced formally. Earlier, the state board had decided to postpone the upcoming board exams in the light of the intense 2nd wave of COVID-19 in the state. The Goa SSC Exams 2021 were supposed to be held from 13th May 13 to 4th June this year have been cancelled for now.
Schools asked to Form Result Committee
At the time of cancellation of the exam, the state government had announced that, "The results of Class tenth board will be prepared on the basis of the internal assessment conducted by schools and an objective criterion developed by the board. Based on that the Executive Committee of GSBSHSE has appointed a drafted an evaluation criteria for the compilation of Class 10 Results. Schools affiliated to the Goa board have been asked to form a result committee, comprising teachers from their own institution and neighbouring schools.
Penalty for Schools in case of malpractices
The draft prepared by the Goa Board has been put through severe scrutiny to ensure that several checks and balances are in place to ensure fairness. Moreover, the draft also talks about penalty for a school if it is found indulging in malpractices while finalising the results of Class 10 students. The official draft reads “"In cases where a school deliberately indulges in practices that are not consistent with fair, unbiased and objective practices of assessment, the board reserves the right to start de-recognition proceedings and/or impose financial penalty against the school or decide not to declare the result of class tenth for the school till the time it is not in conformity with the boards policy.”
