Gujarat SSC and HSC Result 2020: The Gujarat State Board will begin the evaluation process for the board examinations from April 16, 2020, onwards. According to reports, the news has been confirmed by the secretary to the Gujarat Chief Minister Ashwani Kumar. According to the reports, he has stated that the examination paper evaluation work for the Gujarat Board 2020 examinations will be done by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board on April 16, 2020. The decision to conduct the evaluation process was taken after the state education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama conducted a meeting conducted with the representatives of the Associations of private schools regarding the issue of school fees.
Kumar said that GSEB will begin the paper evaluation work for SSC and HSC exam 2020 from 16th April. He also added that GSEB will make the necessary arrangements as well as take responsibility of teachers involved in the evaluation process. Kumar also said that the colleges and universities in Gujarat will have summer vacation starting from 15th April 2020 to 15th May 2020. The annual exams in these institutions will be held as per the guidelines issued by UGC and AICTE.
GSEB 10th and 12th results 2020 will be declared on the official website of the Board. The Gujarat Board Class 10 exams were held from 5th March to 17th March 2020 while the Class 12 exams were conducted from 5th March to 21st March 2020. The Gujarat Board earlier decided to promote students of Classes 1 to 9 and Class 11 sans annual exams due to the COVID-19 crisis.
The State Education Department in a release said that it had also taken necessary measures to help students continue with their studies amid lockdown. In a telephonic conversation with Union HRD Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal, Mr Chudasama said that 210 days of teaching work is already over in the universities and colleges of the state and the remaining academic session is being carried forward by e-learning through Google class room, Zoom application and YouTube. The release also said that the Department of Education has developed a virtual learning platform NaMo-e tablet application which offers syllabus for all the courses from different universities.
