Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) today declared the class 12th HSC general stream result 2017. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) also known as GSEB announced HSC or Class 12 Arts and Commerce streams exam results on May 30. The board declared the results early morning at 8:00 am on their official website gseb.org. The Gujarat board released the results of a total number of 5,14,965 students who have registered for Class 12 (general stream) exam. After the official announcement he students can access the results after entering their roll numbers of HSC class 12 exams 2017.
As per the reports, the Gujarat state education minister Shri Bhupendrasinh Manubha Chudasma and GSHSEB chairman AJ Shah have declared the GSEB 12th General Stream Results and GSEB Class 10 Result 2017 at Gandhinagar office of the Board. Soon after that, GSEB Result was made online on the official website of the board's i.e. www.gseb.org.
Overall pass percentage for 2017 stands at 56.82 per cent for the general stream which is one percent higher than last year’s – 55.82 per cent. GSEB has on May 11 announced the Science exam results. This year, a total of 5,14,965 candidates have registered for Class 12 (general stream) exam. As many as 17,59,225 candidates have given the Class 10 and 12 examinations that was held in March.

Step 1 - Login to the official website of the GSHSEB i.e., gseb.org.
Step 2 - Click on the results link given in the page.
Step 3 - Enter your roll number.
Step 4 - Check your result.
Step 5 - Download and take print out of the same for future reference.
The board was established on May 1, 1960. The GSEB conducts two (including four semester type examinations) main examinations -- the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam for class 10 and the Higher Secondary (School) Certificate (HSC) sem-1,sem-2,sem-3,sem-4,exam for class 12th students in Gujarat. The Board also holds a talent search for students of class 8 and class 9 in five major subjects every year.
