Gujarat HSC Result 2019: 79 Schools Score Less Than 10% Result 12th board exams

The Gujarat Board has declared the Gujarat 12th Result 2019. A total of 3,55,560 students appeared for the board exams and 2,60,500 have successfully passed the exam. This year, as many as 73.27 per cent students cleared the 12th board exams, a 4.3 per cent increase from 2018.

As per reports, 79 schools score less than 10 per cent result in the 12th standard general stream examinations this year, while on the other hand 222 schools record 100 per cent pass Percentage in the class 12 board exams. Last year, there were 76 such schools. Also, this year the number of schools which score cent per cent results has been increased by 16.

In Class 12th board exams, the English medium students did better than their Gujarati counterparts with 83.96 per cent of them clearing the exams against 72.43 per cent of the latter. Again, girls outperformed the boys with a score of 79.27 per cent, while only 67.94 per cent boys cleared the examinations.

Navrangpura centre in Ahmedabad posted the highest 95.66 per cent results, while Morva Rena in central Gujarat's Panchmahals district had the lowest 15.43 pass percentage. Patan district in North Gujarat topped the state with 85.03 per cent results, while Panchmahals hit the botton with 45.82 pass percentage. The GSHSEB conducted the general stream 12th board examination between March 7 and March 23 this year.

A total of 1.47 lakh students appeared for the GSEB 12th Science Result board exams from the. Out of 1.47 lakh students, 47,411 students have appeared from Group A while the rest i.e. 81,760 have appeared in Group B. Only 31 students have also appeared for Group AB in the non-semester system.

8,28,944 students registered for the class GSEB Class 10 board exams of which 8,22,823 students appeared for the board exams. Out of the 8.22 lakh students, 5,55,1023 students cleared the exam with an overall pass percentage of 66.97%. This year, the girls have outperformed the boys with an overall pass percentage of 72.64% and 62.83% in case of boys.
