Shimla: Celebrations have begun on streets of Himachal Pradesh, as the HPBOSE has announced HP Board 10th Result 2017 today. The official announcement was done from the Dharamshala Office of the HPBOSE. Students can now check their HPBOSE 10th Class Results 2017 online on the board’s website i.e. hpbose.org. Students can also get their HPBOSE 10th results on hp10.jagranjosh.com. The declaration of the results will seal the fate of nearly 1.2 lakh students this year.
Last year, 1,22,614 students participated in the Himachal Pradesh Board 10th Examination 2016 out of which only 81,304 were able to clear the examination and 16,616 faced compartments. The overall pass percentage in the year HP Board 10th results 2016 was at 66.88 percent. As per the official data, the performance of government schools was very low, with more than 16 schools registering zero percent pass percentage. Most of the toppers were from private institutions. In 2016, the list of toppers was dominated by girls. Akshima Thakur grabbed the top position with 98.57% followed by Lakita Khidtt with 98.29%.

Soon after the official announcement of the result, students can visit hp10.jagranjosh.com for easy and fast access to their results. However, the HP Board will also release the results on their official website hpbose.org or hpresults.nic.in.
