The Himachal Pradesh Board 2018 Matric or Class 10th Examination for the regular students has begun. Like HP Board 2018 Class 12th examination, Class 10th examination is also conducted in two shifts. The morning shift of the examination starts from 8:45 AM, and ends by 12:00 PM. This Examination time is for the regular students. The State Open School students have to appear for the exam from 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm.
The HP Board has clearly informed the students that to carry the admit cards while appearing for the examination. Both regular as well as open school students won’t be allowed to enter the exam premises without the hall tickets.
It was also notified by the board that the papers for English, Mathematics, Hindi, social sciences, science and technology and culture topics will be made available in three series, namely A, B and C. The students taking exams in these disciplines are required to write or dark the letters in the prescribed block on main page or OMR sheet of the series in the allotted question paper.
The Himachal Pradesh Board 2018 Class 10th Practical Examinations of registered students, under the Regular Examinations and State Open School of Bharmaur and Pangi Sub Divisional and District Kinnaur of District Chamba, will begin after the written or theory examination. Students are advised to know the date and time of the subject-time Practical Examination, in case of being of the Regular candidate or SOS by contacting the Head of the concerned study center by March 20, 2018.

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education was established in 1969 to serve as a regulatory and supervisory body. Its services involved conducting yearly HP Board 12th Examinations and HP Board 10th Examinations. The HPBOSE conducts J.B.T and T.T.C examinations too.
