The Haryana State Technical Education Society has commenced the online counseling procedure for the Diploma Engineering programme today. As per the schedule given in the official website, the HSTES released the Inter-se-merit list for the Diploma programme on June 13, 2019. Candidates can deposit the counseling fee for the first and second counseling round from today (June 14) until July 3, 2019. The counseling fee can be deposited either through the online mode or through e-challan.

Online Counseling Registration Procedure
In order to submit the choices for the counseling candidates need to first register themselves on the counseling link given. Candidates can follow the steps given below for reference
Step 1: Registration
To register candidates need to visit the counseling website - techadmissionshry.gov.in and click on the ‘New Registration’ tab. Candidates are now required to enter details like Course, Roll Number, Application Number, Name, Date of birth etc. After the registration is completed candidates will be given a user ID and password which has to be used for the further counseling and choice filling process
Step 2: Fill Choices
After the registration is completed candidates can move on to login using the user Id and password and enter the choice of preference. Candidates are advised to enter the maximum number of choice eligible to increase the probability of getting a seat. After filling the choices, candidate will have to lock their choices. Locking of the choices means that the candidate has finalized their choice. In case the candidate makes changes in their registration details, then it is necessary to fill the choices again as previous choices will be deleted automatically by the system immediately after any changes are made in registration details.
Step 3: Deposit Fee
After entering all the choices candidates will have to submit the counseling fee. The counseling fee has to be submitted via online mode or through e-challan. Candidates need to submit a fee of Rs. 500/- irrespective of the category they belong to. It must be noted that the counseling fee once paid will not be refunded.
