The wait is finally over for the students who were waiting for their ICMAI June 2018 term examination results as the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has announced the results today at examicmai.org. The candidates can now check the results online at icmai.in by entering all the relevant details. The declaration of the results have sealed the fate of lakhs of students who have appeared for the examination.

For the convenience of the students, the ICMAI has made the result checking process extremely easy and simple. The candidates will first have to visit examicmai.org/emsweb/ then they will have to enter all the details in the fields provided like Identification Number/ Registration Number. Before clicking the submit button, the candidates should re-check the details. Soon after clicking the submit button, the result will appear on the screen. The candidates must note that the institute will not issue the original marksheet soon after the formal declaration of the results, hence it is extremely important for the candidates to save the PDF copy of the scorecards for future references.

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) will also publish the rank list along with the result. It will be available in pdf format and will consist of details about top 50 candidates such as their Rank, syllabus, registration number, roll number, etc. In order to get qualified in this examination, the candidates must obtain the minimum pass percentage in the examination. A candidate needs to obtain at least 40% marks in each paper of the group and at least 50% marks in the non-exempted papers of the group. Also, ICMAI will publish the pass percentage for CMA Inter, Foundation and Final.

Previously known as the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India (ICWAI), the ICMAI is the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. It is the only licensing cum regulating body of Cost & Management Accountancy profession in India. A student has to pass three levels of the examination (Foundation, Intermediate, and Final) and complete three years of practical training to be eligible to apply for Associate membership of the Institute. The members of the ICMAI carry the designation ACMA (Associate Cost and Management Accountant) and FCMA (Fellow Cost and Management Accountant), as applicable based on their type of membership of the institute.
