The Indian Placement Reporting Standard has recently released an audit report of IIM Ahmedabad’s 2018 PGP batch placement process where it has been noted that the premier management institute has seen a fall in highest international salary offer as compared to 2017. As per the report, the highest domestic offer this year was much higher than 2017.
The highest salary offered to the IIM student this year was Rs 72 lakh per annum, Rs 19 lakh more than the highest domestic salary of Rs 53 lakh per annum in 2017. The domestic front has seen a steady rise in offers since 2016. However, the institute faced some disappointment in the international hiring front. The Highest international salary offered in 2018 fell to Rs 66 lakh per annum, a drop of Rs 12 lakh.
