JEE Advanced 2020: The conducting body, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has allotted four exam centres for aspirants of JEE Advanced 2020 in Jammu and Kashmir. In a first, this many numbers of exam centres for JEE Advanced 2020 have been provided in the state. The four centres for JEE Advanced 2020 are located in Jammu, Srinagar and Kashmir. This makes it a tad easier for aspirants in the state to access their exam centres for JEE Advanced 2020.
The news regarding the allotment of exam centres in J & K was shared by IIT Delhi Director, V. Ramgopal Rao via his official twitter handle quashing the claims made by certain agencies that no exam centres for JEE Advanced 2020 aspirants have been allotted in the state. He also ascertained that the news being spread is fake and the number of exam centres allotted in Jammu and Kashmir will be enough to accommodate all the aspirants who had qualified JEE Mains 2020 and are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2020. He even urged everyone to check the brochure for JEE Advanced 2020 for the same.
The IIT Delhi Director also issued a clarification on the requests to increase the number of attempts for JEE Advanced 2020 in view of the pandemic. He said that the decision to increase the number of attempts for JEE Advanced is taken in the meeting of the Joint Admission Board’ where all matters in regards to IIT JEE or JEE Advanced 2021 are discussed and implemented.
JEE Advanced 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on 27th September 2020 across the country in various centers. JEE Advanced 2020 will be conducted in the online mode as a computer-based test, CBT in designated exam centres. The exam comprises of two papers- Paper I and Paper II, and the aspirants are required to attempt both mandatorily. Paper 1 and 2 each include questions from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates can attempt JEE Advanced 2020 in English as well as Hindi.
