CBSE JEE Main 2017: Celebrations are underway for students who eagerly waited for their CBSE JEE Main Result 2017. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the result for paper 2 of JEE Main Result.Students who appeared for paper 2 of JEE Main can check their results on the official website i.e. at jeemain.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.
This year, the JEE Main Paper 2 was conducted for candidates on April 2, 2017. Paper 2 was conducted for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses offered at engineering colleges except IITs. As per official press release, around 144048 registered for Paper 2, out of which 82,060 were boys and 62025 are girls.
In the offline mode, as many as 1,20,574 candidates have appeared. While 69,344 were boys, 51230 are girl candidates. JEE Main Result for paper 2 is now live and students can visit jeemain.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in to check their scores.
Steps to download the JEE main results 2017:
• Go to the official website for JEE main 2017 (jeemain.nic.in).
• Click on the link on the homepage which will direct you to the results page.
• Enter your details in the fields provided and click on “submit”.
• Download a copy of your results and take a print out of the same for further reference
For the candidates to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE(Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
