Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released the admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2018. The admit cards are now available for download on the official website jeemain.nic.in. Students can now download the admit cards from the official website.
Earlier, an official notification was released on the portal of JEE Main 2018 where it was stated that ‘all the candidates who have submitted the online application and paid the examination fee till the last date will be allowed to appear in JEE (Main) and their admit cards will be uploaded on the website as per schedule. The JEE (Main) secretariat/CBSE do neither verify the information filled by the candidates in the application form nor verify any certificate of category/educational qualification for deciding the eligibility of candidates.’
‘The certificates of educational qualification and category (if applied under reserved category) will be verified by the concerned institution. The candidates are, therefore, advised to ensure their eligibility and the category (if applying under reserved category). The CBSE will, in no way, be responsible for any wrong/incorrect information furnished by the candidate(s) in their online application form. The letter/e-mails in this regard will not be entertained by JEE (Main) Secretariat/CBSE.’
The students are advised to download their admit cards from JEE (Main) website only. For any further assistance, the help booth JEE Main 2018 is open from 9 AM to 5:30 PM.

The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is the national level competitive test to shortlist engineering aspirants for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes offered across India. Formerly known as All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), the national level engineering entrance exam was rechristened as Joint Entrance Examination (Main) in April 2013. Generally speaking, the JEE Mains Result is used to determine rank/score of an engineering aspirant on the basis of which admission will be granted into National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). Every year, around 13 lakh engineering aspirants from across the country appear for the JEE Main Exam and this year this number has grown quite significantly increasing the overall competition.
