JEECUP 2020 Exam Postponed: As per the latest update, the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh has decided to reschedule the UP JEE Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2020. The news about the postponement or rescheduling of the JEECUP Exam 2020 has been confirmed by the council through an official notification on its website i.e. jeecup.nic.in. According to the notification, the JEECUP 2020 Exam has been rescheduled and will now be held on 31st May 2020 and 1st June 2020 for different groups. In addition to this, the council has also extended the application deadline for JEECUP 2020 Examination until 20th April 2020 to enable aspirants to register for the Polytechnic exams. Exam Postponed for all Groups
According to the original exam notification, the JEECUP 2020 exam was scheduled to be held on 26th April for engineering aspirants and on 27th April 2020 for Other Groups. However, as per the revised notice, now, the Engineering Exam for UP JEE Polytechnic Exam 2020 will be held on on May 31 for group A and E and on June 1 for group B, C, D, F, G, H, I and group K1 to K8. Although the exam authority has not provided any specific reason for the postponement of the exams, many believe that it has been done due to the nation-wide lockdown announced by the government due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Admit Cards Expected 1 Week Before Exam
As mentioned in the official exam notification, students can expect the UP Polytechnic JEE 2020 admit cards to be released around 1 week prior the examination. As now the exams are being held on 31st May 2020, aspirants can expect the admit cards to be released in the third week of May 2020. Candidates must also note that after the completion of the online application process, the JEE Council will also open the online application correction window from 21st to 24th April 2020 during which candidates will be allowed to edit their application forms.
