JMI Admissions: Admission to Short term Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDP) has been started in JMI. Many candidates apply for admission in this programme and with the commencement of application process, they can start applying for it. The candidates should know that from this year, JMI has started four new courses. The Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has introduced these four new courses. The candidates will surely get benefit from the introduction of these new programmes.
The candidates must know that the new four courses that have been introduced by the JMI are in collaboration with NSIC (National Small Industries Corporation), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). The courses are as follows:
- Sales & Marketing
- Grooming of Factory Operation/Assembly Line/Packaging
- CNC (Computer- Controlled Machine) Basic Training
- CNC (Computer- Controlled Machine) Advance Training
It is important for the candidates to know that all these programmes are being run under 'Scheme for Promoting Innovation; Rural Industry & Entrepreneurship (ASPIRE)' of the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. It is clear that these programmes are aimed at self-employment and to create start-ups in the country.
The candidates who want to apply for the programme need to apply before July 31 as it is the last date of submission of application forms. The application forms can be collected from the Livelihood Business Incubation (LBI) Centre - JMI (Near University Polytechnic-JMI) between 10.00 A.M. to 6.00 P.M. on all working days. The qualification for these programmes vary for different courses. For some course, it is 8th class and for some it is 12th class. The duration of the course also varies.
