JNVST Class VI Admission Test 2021 Date Announced: As per the latest update, the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has formally notified the examination date for the JNVST Class VI Admission Test 2021 Date Announced. The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test or JNVST for 6th Class Admission Test 2021 will be held on 11th August 2021, according to the official circular released by the NVS. Unlike previously, when the JNVST 2021 for Class VI was to be held in two phases i.e. first for all attest thereafter for state of Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya; now the exam would be held on a single day for all the states. JNVST Class 6 Admissions – Key Dates
Earlier, the Navodaya Vidhyalaya Class 6 Admission Test was scheduled to be held on 16th May 2021 for all state except for Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya. For the three north-eastern states, the exam was scheduled to be held on 19th June 2021. However, due to COVID-19 pandemic, both the exams were cancelled. Now, with the number of COVID-19 cases falling rapidly, the the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has decided to hold the screening test on 11th August 2021. The detailed schedule and the complete notification for JNVST Class 6 Admission Test 2021 will be released formally by the Education Ministry soon on the official website navodaya.gov.in.
24,17,009 Candidates Registered for the Exam
While announcing the examination date for JNVST, Union Education Ministry also noted that as many as 24,17,009 candidates have registered for JNVST 2021 who will be competing to be selected on a total of 47,320 on offer at JNV Schools across the country. The Ministry also specified that keeping in mind the pandemic and the current situation, the JNVST 2021 for Class 6 Admissions will be held at 11,182 centres. The screening test would be held with strict adherence to COVID-19 guidelines and protocols to ensure complete safety of the students during the pandemic.
