
Karnataka state government will be conducting the Karnataka SSLC examinations from June 14 to 25, 2021. Due to the rising COVID-19 cases, schools in the state have urged the government to postpone the SSLC examinations. The schools are of the opinion that postponing the Karnataka SSLC exams 2021 to another month will allow some time for micro-planning.
Schools facing shortage of staff
The Associated managements of KAMS or Karnataka Primary and Secondary Schools have stated that the entire education system has collapsed due to the pandemic while some of the schools are also facing a shortage of teachers and staff members due to the COVID-19 situation.
The Management has further added that the Karnataka SSLC exam 2021 should be postponed and not cancelled. The Karnataka class 12 exams are considered as the foundation for the students helping them pursue higher education which is why the exams must be conducted with proper planning.
There is an opinion that the Karnataka SSLC Exams 2021 must be postponed to a month or two so that the students can appear for the exams in a safe environment. The schools have also been urged that the students must be permitted to take the supplementary exams as a special consideration.
Karnataka COVID cases
Karnataka has reported roughly 39998 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours and considering the increase in the cases, the schools have urged the government to postpone the SSLC exams. The state government is however yet to make a decision on the Karnataka SSLC Exams 2021.
