Karnataka government will be conducting the SSLC examinations for the students from today - July 19, 2021, onwards. The examinations are scheduled to be conducted until July 22, 2021, with all the COVID-19 safety protocols in place. According to the instructions from the board. The students appearing for the Karnataka SSLC Examinations will be getting OMR sheets with their names and registration number printed on them.
On the occasion of the commencement of the SSLC exams, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has also extended his best wishes to the students appearing for the Karnataka SSLC Examinations from today onwards. The chief minister took to Twitter to wish his best to the students. In the tweet, the chief minister gave the students his best wishes and asked the students to be relaxed and focus on the exams. He has also assured the parents that the government has made all the necessary arrangements for the exams ensuring the safety of the students appearing for the exams.
Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar issued the order on July 17, 2021, suggesting that the board must give all the registered students the
SSLC exam admit card irrespective of whether they have paid the fees. He has also asked the State Education Department to ensure that all the students get their hall tickets on time.
The Karnataka SSLC Exams will be conducted with OMR sheets which will be provided to the students in different colours so that there is no confusion among the students appearing for the exams. The examination evaluation is expected to be conducted as quickly as possible this year since there is no conventional method involved in finalising the marks of the students.
Karnataka SSLC Exam 2021 Guidelines
The Karnataka SSLC exam Hall Ticket 2021 is a mandatory document that has to be in possession of the students appearing for the examinations. Students appearing for the exams are also required to wear marks and carry hand sanitisers along with maintaining proper social distancing both inside and outside the exam centre.
The OMR Sheets of the first language and mathematics exams will be pink while the second language and science OMR sheets will be orange. The OMR sheets of the third language and Social Science exams will be green.
The students will be given three question papers and OMR sheets together to attempt and they can do so in any order. Students can also avail of free KSRTC travel on the day of the exam by showing the hall ticket.
Approximately 8.76 lakh students have registered for the Karnataka SSLC exams. Karnataka is among the few states conducting the SSLC exams amidst the pandemic as many of the state boards and the central boards have decided on cancelling the exams and promoting the students based on the evaluation criteria set by the board.
