SSC Results 2017: Its celebrations time for the Maharashtra SSC Students, as the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the results of Maharashtra Board 10th results today. The declaration of the results has sealed the fate of more than 17 lakh SSC students. This year, the total number of pass percentage stood to a humongous 88.74%. Following past trends, this year also Girls outshined boys with 91.46% against 86.51%.

As per the general trend, the Maharashtra Board has declared the SSC Results 2017 for class 10 students from their Pune office. Tentative reports earlier hinted that state minister of school education Shri Vinod Tawde will preside over the declaration function for the Maharashtra Results along with MSBSHSE chairman Shri G.K.Mhamane. The Maharashtra Secondary School Certificate Examination 2017 (SSC Exam) was conducted this year in the month of March – April for 17.7 lakh students (9,89,908 boys and 77,76,190 girls) at 4,535 exam centres. Despite the increased student participation, the Maharashtra Board has done a commendable job of bringing out the SSC Results on time.

About the Board: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) was founded in 1966 and it started it process to conduct examination from 1974 onwards. The two main examination that it conduct are HSC and SSC through its nine divisional boards in Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Latur, Aurangabad, Amravati, Nasik, Kolhapur and Ratnagiri.
