Maharashtra Board Exams 2019: In yet another incident the class 10 examination paper of Maharashtra Board has been leaked on social media just half an hour before the examination. This incident comes when the board has already filed a complaint regarding an alleged leak of three question papers earlier on social media. The incident has again been reported from Bhivandi in Thane District.
This time the question papers of Social Science Subjects were leaked approximately half an hour before the examination commences. The Maharashtra Board Senior Secondary Certificate Examination commenced on March 1, 2019. The board has come under serious criticism for the sheer lack of negligence regarding such an important public examination. In a similar incident, the question papers of Science. Algebra and Geometry subjects were leaked through whatsapp on March 11, 13 15 and 18, 2019. This was also reported from Bhivandi in Thane District.
In the previous case of leaking the question papers, a police spokesperson reported that the board has filed a case under IPC Section 401 and the Maharashtra Prevention of Malpractices at University, Board and Other Specified Examination Act. Although a case has been registered for the second question paper leak incident there is no update regarding the same.
This year the Maharashtra State Board has been under constant controversy regarding the class 10 board examination. In a prior incident, three men were caught from Nagpur for appearing as proxy candidates in the board examination for both HSC and SSC examination.
The Maharashtra State Board class 10 examination will end on March 22, 2019. The results of the board examination will be declared by June 2019 following which candidates who qualify can apply for the class 11 admissions
