Manipur Board 2021 Evaluation Criteria: As per the latest updates, the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur(CoHSEM) and Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BoSEM), Manipur education authority has announced the evaluation criteria for classes 10th and 12th today. According to the media reports, the assessment criteria were announced in a meeting attended by Commissioner (Education) M Harekrishna, Manipur Education Minister Sorokhaibam Rajen Singh Director (Education-Schools) L Nandakumar Singh, and other CoHSEM and BoSEM officials.

Earlier, due to the second wave of COVID-19, the education bodies cancelled the class 10th and 12th state board examination. Therefore, they have released these evaluation criteria to assess the performance of students and grade them. Based on this the final board result for Manipur class 10th and 12th will be announced. The Education Minister informed that the toppers of the examinations will not be announced this year.

Manipur Class 10th Board 2021 Evaluation Criteria

According to the released criteria for class 10, out of a total of 100 marks, 20 marks will be for Internal Assessment of the school, 30 marks will be allotted based on previous class i.e.cClass 9 exam and 50 marks will be considered based on the performance of the students in pre-board exams (term test and periodic test) conducted in their respective schools. The total number of candidates who had registered for appearing in the class 10 examination, 2021, is 44,068.

Manipur Class 12th Board 2021 Evaluation Criteria

For the students of class 12th, out of 100 marks, 30 marks will be from the class 10 record (best of three), 20 marks will be based on class 11 results, and 50 marks will be based on class 12 pre-boards, tests conducted by the respective schools. A total of 29,517 students have registered for the CoHSEM examination 2021.

Manipur Board Special Exams

The Education Minister informed that the students who are not satisfied with the marking modalities can approach the concerned officials. Special exams will be arranged for those students. The boards will conduct special exams for these students after the Covid-19 situation becomes better.

Manipur Board Exam Result 2021

The education minister further added that the education department will prepare the results for classes 10 and 12 soon. This year, the Supreme Court has mandated for state boards to announce the result of classes 10 and 12 before 31st July. Therefore, the education department is also committed to announcing the result before the deadline given by the apex court.
