The Mizoram Board or MBSE has begun the board examination for HSLC or class 10th students from 10:00 AM, today. The examination has begun around 10:00 AM, with prior 15 minutes given to the students to read the question paper carefully. It will conclude around 1:00 PM. The Mizoram Board 2018 HSLC exam will end on 18th March 2018.
The Mizoram Board 2018 HSLC practical exam will commence from 19th March 2018 and end on 23rd March 2018. The time slot for the practical examination is from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Students will be divided into groups based on their roll numbers. As far the admit cards are concerned, it has been distributed to the students respectively, within the school campus.
In the last 5 years, the total number of appearing candidates in the HSLC Board examinations has shown a positive growth. An increased number of students have enrolled for the class 10th examination. Once the HSLC examination of Mizoram Board is completed, the result will be declared after the evaluation of the answer sheets. It might take 45-50 days.

The Mizoram Board of Secondary Education operates under the authority of the Chairman who acts as its chief administrator. The Chairman is appointed on a contract basis as a full-time officer with terms and conditions formulated by both the Officer and the Government of Mizoram. Other than the Chairman, the Mizoram Board also recruits the Chief Administrative Officer (Secretary) who takes care of the policies and programmes of the MBSE. The Secretary executes his duties with the assistance of the Director (Academic), the Deputy Secretary and the Controller of Examinations of Mizoram Board.
