According to initial reports, a total of 3.19 lakh lakh seats are available for FYJC Admissions 2019 across 849 colleges in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). Out of which, 1.87 lakh seats are yet to be filled. However, due to higher marks in the SSC exam and fierce competition among the candidates, high admission cut-offs are expected even after the declaration of 3rd Merit List 2019. Especially when it comes to prominent colleges, the Mumbai FYJC Admission Cut-offs are expected to be much higher.
In the earlier two rounds, only 1,31,310 seats across MMR has been claimed by the students. According to a report in leading media portal, after the release of 2nd Cut-off List for FYJC Admissions, very few seats are left in prominent colleges, especially for the General Category students.
