
NATA 2021 Second Test: The Council of Architecture (CoA) has released the revised NATA 2021 exam date for the second test. NATA 2021 second test will now be conducted on 11th July. The decision to postpone the NATA 2021 second test has been made because of the upsurge in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The authorities have also announced that a revised NATA 2021 brochure for Test 2 will soon be available on the official website. Previously, NATA 2021 Second test was to be held on 12th June.
Official Notice Regarding NATA 2021 Revised Date
The official notification read, “In view of the severity of second wave of COVID-19 and subsequent lockdowns being imposed in several states/ UTs in the country for containment of pandemic, it has been decided by the competent authority of the Council of Architecture that second test of NATA 2021 examination shall now be held on July 11 instead of earlier scheduled date of June 12, 2021.”
NATA 2021 Second Test: Application Procedure
The online NATA application form 2021 is available on the official website. Candidates who wish to appear in the second test of NATA 2021 can fill and submit the application form at nata.in. To fill the NATA 2021 application form, candidates will have to - register, fill the application form, upload scanned images, pay the application fee, and lastly take a printout of the confirmation page. Also, due to the postponement of the second test, there are chances of the NATA 2021 application last date being changed to accommodate the students.
NATA 2021 First Test
Earlier, COA conducted the NATA 2021 first test on 10th April by following all the COVID-19 guidelines. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture 2021 phase 1 was held at 196 designated test centres across India and also at Dubai, Qatar, Omen and Kuwait. The authorities also released the result on 20th April. Considering the COVID-19 situation across the country, the authorities reduced the NATA 2021 qualifying marks from 75 to 70.
About NATA
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is conducted every year for admissions into the undergraduate BArch courses. This year, COA also relaxed the NATA eligibility criteria. The authorities have relaxed the NATA 2021 eligibility criteria of obtaining at least 50% marks in Class 12 or 10+3 diploma for taking the BArch admission to just passing the board level exams. Qualified candidates will be eligible for BArch admission into NATA participating institutes.
