The National Board of Examinations (NBE) released an official notification cautioning students against false information. The NBE, in its notification, warned the students against the spread of false messages and information by means of using spoofed notices in the name of the Board. The Board further clarified that various notices relating to different activities are published by it on its official websites - natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in only.
The Official Notification
In the official notification issued by the National Board of Examinations, it has said that it has come to the notice of the NBE that certain unscrupulous elements are circulating false and bogus information using spoofed notices in the name of NBE. Providing further clarification on the matter, the Board said that it publishes various notices relating to its activities on its official websites -- natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in only.
The notice further read that official notification issued by the Board after July 2020 have a QR code on it and scanning the QR code on the notice will redirect the user to the said notice on the NBE website. The Board has also advised the students as well as stakeholders to visit the official websites only for correct and authentic information regarding NBE. The notification in its concluding remarks advised the stakeholders not to be misled or allured by any kind of unverified notice and should cross verify any information regarding NBE through its official website only.
The National Board of Examinations is the administering body of postgraduate medical education and examinations. NBE was established in 1982 and is responsible for conducting various exams such as NEET PG, NEET MDS, NEET SS, FMGE, FMDE, FET, CET, PDCET, DNB etc.
