NEET 2019 Registration: The NEET 2019 registration process will end today at the official website that is www.ntaneet.nic.in. Earlier the registration process was scheduled to end on November 30th, 2018 but then the last date was extended after the decision by the Supreme Court came. The Supreme Court increased the age limit for the NEET 2019 registration and hence the last date of registration was also extended. This year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the examination. The entrance exam for the MBBS/BDS courses in India — National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate courses is going to be held on May 5, 2019 (Sunday).
The aspirants who have passed class 12 from open school must note that they are not eligible for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2019). According to the NTA, the candidates who had either biology or biotechnology as an additional subject at class 12 level are also not eligible to appear for the exam. However, the matter is still in court. The final decision on these candidatures will be announced by the court. The candidates are advised to register for the exam at the official website — nta.ac.in.
As per the notification, the NEET 2019 admit card will be available on April 15, 2019. Earlier it was announced that NEET will be conducted twice a year but after a long debate on the conduction of NEET 2019 examination, the Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry rolled back its decision to conduct MBBS and BDS entrance exam NEET online twice a year. It was creating some issues among the students, parents, and officials.
The National Testing Agency also known as NTA has been established as an autonomous and self-sustained testing body to conduct entrance examinations for admission/fellowship in higher educational institutions. This year the NTA will be conducting engineering, medical as well as management courses. JEE Main 2019, NEET 2019, CMAT 2019 and UGC NET examination are some of the competitive examinations that NTA will focus on.
