NEET 2020 to be conducted as per schedule

NEET UG 2020 Admit Card 2020 - According to media reports, the NEET UG exams 2020 are to be postponed by the NTA due to the National Lockdown announced by the central government. In this regard, it is highly unlikely that the NEET UG 2020 admit cards expected to be released today will be available online. NEET 2020 Revised Dates after NTA Review Meeting

As per media reports, the NEET 2020 Revised Dates after the postponement of the medical entrance exam, will be announced by the NTA at a later date. Reports claim that, NTA is scheduled to hold a review meeting on 14th April 2020 in which the apex testing agency will decide the new exam dates for all the exams that have been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Until then, students are advised to take advantage of the postponement and prepare well for the NEET 2020 Exam which will be held after the lockdown period.

MHRD Secy says NEET 2020 Not Postponed

NEET 2020: The exam date of NTA NEET 2020 has not been postponed as yet. MHRD secretary Amit Khare stated that the decision to reschedule the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test will be taken based on the situation. As of now, the Secretary has informed that the NEET 2020 exam will be conducted as per the decided schedule. According to the schedule provided on the official website of NTA, the NEET 2020 examination will be conducted on May 3, 2020. 

Candidates who wish to apply for the May 2020 NEET examination can visit the official website to register and apply. 

With the country facing the COVD-19 outbreak there have been speculations that the NEET 2020 examinations will be postponed. The MHRD secretary has however stated that the examinations will be conducted as per schedule until a decision is made on whether to reschedule the May 2020 examination. 

The Application process for NEET 2020 is ongoing. Students interested to appear for the examination can visit the official website of NEET 2020 to complete the online registration and application process. As per the schedule given, the NEET 2020 admit card will be available for download on the official website on March 27, 2020.

As per the reports available, a total of 15.93 lakh students have registered for the NEET UG2020 examinations from which 33,357 candidates who have registered are from Jammu and Kashmir.

NEET 2020 will be conducted for a duration of three hours. The examinations will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM across the designated examination centres across the country.

Updates regarding the examinations will be available on the official website - ntaneet.nic.in. candidates appearing for the May 2020 examination must make sure that they check the official website for regular updates regarding the examination.
