The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has finally released the National Eligibility-cum-entrance Test, NEET 2018 Admit Cards for undergraduate (UG) Examination on its official website, i.e. cbseneet.nic.in. The students have been waiting for the admit cards or hall tickets from a very long time. The NEET (UG) 2018 exam is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, May 6th, 2018 at 10.00 am. The NEET 2018 UG Examination will be held in single stage and in a multiple choice questions format. The duration of test will be 3 hours. In a statement, CBSE said that “The schedule will remain unaltered even if the date of the test is declared a public holiday.”
All the students are advised to take at least three printouts of the admit card. For security reasons, after finishing your work, candidates must LOGOUT and close all the windows related to the session. The Candidates are also advised to keep changing the Password at frequent intervals to avoid any kind of cybercrime or technical hindrance. Students must keep their admit cards safe till the admission procedures are completed.
Earlier, the admit cards were expected to be declared in the first or second week of April but it got delayed. Students were really worried by the admit card delay. Even during the board examination of CBSE, the admit cards and datesheet were delayed by a week or so. The NEET 2018 Entrance Examination will give an opportunity to all the MBBS/BDS aspirants to achieve their dream of becoming a doctor.
Here are the steps to download the NEET 2018 Admit Card:
Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e. cbseneet.nic.in
Step 2: View ‘Online Services’ section at the extreme left hand on the homepage and then click on ‘Candidate Login’
Step 3: A new page will open.
Step 4: Enter your registration number and password and click on Login.
Step 5: The admit card will be displayed on screen
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) is a qualifying cum entrance examination notified under the 'Regulations on Graduate Medical Education 1997 and BDS Course Regulations, 2007' by the Medical Council of India as published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated 21st December, 2010 and 15st February, 2012 and the Dental Council of India as published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated 31st May, 2012. NEET has been introduced by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Govt, of India and Medical Council of India (MCI). NEET has been introduced for the Undergraduate (NEET-UG) Medical Course like MBBS, BDS etc. and Post Graduate (NEET-PG) Medical Courses like M.S, M.D.
