According to the Deputy Director of NIOS RD Mahapatra, this year, the results were announced earlier than the previous years. This year, the board had taken a slew of measures to curb cheating and other malpractices. According to the HRD Ministry’s guideline only those schools were made the centres for the examinations where CCTV cameras were installed.
With lakhs of students accessing their results online simultaneously, the official website of the board might face technical glitches. If such situation arises this year, we request the students not to panic and wait for the official website to resume. Keeping the convenience of the students, the Board has made the result checking process extremely easy and simple. It is advisable to download the NIOS Class 10 Result and take a printout. Apart from taking a printout, the students can also download a soft copy of their NIOS Result scorecard from the website for future reference purposes. This copy of NIOS Class 10 Result can be treated as a provisional result and be used for planning and beginning admission formalities for further education.
The NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) was set up in the year 1989. It got established by the Ministry of Human Resources Development. It works as a panel of education under the Union administration of the country. Just like the CBSE and the CISCE, it offers education to numerous remote regions, where a flexible type of education is mandatory. The NIOS Board has a specific motive. The Union government has aimed to spread education to far-off places of the country. With this aim, the NIOS Board was formed and operated. The NIOS Board operates on the principle of open tuition concept, which provides students with the opportunity to pursue the education without having to attend a full-time school. In rural areas, illiteracy has taken an evil turn. The Board has many vocational courses. You can find more information about the NIOS Board on their official website i.e. nios.ac.in.
