The candidates who are preparing for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), we have some important information for you. The registration of CMAT will start from November 1 and will continue till November 30. The students who will be appearing for the examination are asked to keep a close eye on the official website of the agency for all the latest updates. This year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the examinations. The admit cards for the examinations will be available for download from January 7, 2019. The CMAT examination will begin on January 28 and the results will be announced on February 10.
CMAT 2018- Eligibility Criteria
Before submitting the application form, it is important for students to check the eligibility criteria to ensure whether they are eligible to participate or not. Here are the CMAT eligibility criteria that you must meet:
• CMAT 2018 applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Applicant must hold a graduation degree in any stream from any recognized Indian college or university with 50% marks for General category and 45% marks for SC/ST category.
• Students appearing in the final year of graduation whose result will be announced before the commencement of admission can also apply for CMAT 2018.
• There is no age limit for appearing in CMAT 2018 exam.
The Common Management Admission Test is a national level entrance examination conducted every year for admission in all management programmes. Carried out in a single session, the duration of the CMAT is three hours. Over 3500 AICTE approved B-schools are expected to take CMAT scores including JBIMS, Sydenham, KJ Somaiya, IMT and GIM among others. The CMAT is being conducted to evaluate the ability of the candidates across various segments like quantitative technique, logical reasoning, language comprehension and general awareness.
