Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched a smart learning app called ‘Madhu’ for the schools' children in the state. The app which was launched by the chief minister on Tuesday was named after Utkal Gourab Madhusudan Das and developed by the Ganjan district administration in accordance with the 5T initiative of the Odisha state government.
Odisha Chief Minister while launching the mobile app interacted with the students from 22 blocks of Ganjan District via video conferencing and advised them to focus on their studies and make the state proud.
The mobile app is aimed at helping the school students in the state to learn their lessons via videos and tutorials available on the app. The courses have been prepared in a way to make the video lectures more interesting and self-explanatory with the help of high-quality teaching-learning material.
The mobile app consists of video lectures and is available in the Odia language by leading subject experts and educationists.
The first phase of the app consists of study materials for Mathematics and Science subjects from classes 5 to 8.
With the help of the app, students will be provided with access to video explanations of the topics they study at school. The courses in the app have been prepared to make videos interesting for the students by using the latest quality teaching-learning materials along with question-answer sessions for a better understanding of each topic.
The features of the Madhu App includes lectures by expert school teachers in Odia language, usage of high-quality teaching-learning material, interactive question-answer session, and real classroom experience.
The students will be able to download the Odisha Madhu App from Google Play Store which will contain video lectures and exercises in Odia. Along with this the app also contains an interactive question-answer session along with e-learning exercises for maths and science subjects.
