School education is the backbone of the entire cycle of education. If the students do not receive proper education in the school then they will not be growing in their career in an appropriate way. The school administration therefore pays attention to this concern that the students at the school learn in the best possible manner. The subjects that are taught in the school are of utmost importance. Some subjects need more attention from the teachers as these may be difficult for the students to learn while some may be easy. The teachers have to pay more attention towards the difficult subjects.

In the same way, the govt run schools of Odisha are planning to extend the session duration of the important subjects like maths, science and english so that the students can learn them in an efficient manner. The Odisha govt has decided to increase the session duration of some important subjects like Maths, Science and English. These subjects are important for the students as they have to excel in these subjects for their career. If these subjects are not paid due attention then the students may lag behind in the future. Also, many students often fail in these subjects. Therefore, the govt has been planning to increase the session duration of these subjects.

The Education Minister of the state took this decision after he reviewed the performance of the students in the class 10th board exam. He felt that there is a need to increase the session duration of these subjects so that the students get more time and the teachers can pay more attention to it. However, this will be in the pilot project mode for some selected schools and if the results are good then it will be extended to other schools also.
