PSEB 12th Exam 2021 Update: Amid rising concerns on holding of the Punjab 12th Board Exam 2021 in the on-going 2nd Wave of COVID-19, the State Government is considering a plan to hold the Class 12 Board Exams 2021 only for 3 Major Subjects. The suggestion was presented by Punjab Education Minister Vijay Singla at the high-level meeting held on Monday with Union Education Minister and Other State Education Ministers. At the meeting, State Education Ministers of various states presented their views about holding of the pending Class 12 Board Exams amid the current situation of the pandemic. Punjab was represented by Education Minister Sangla as well as School Education Secretary Krishan Kumar and Punjab School Education Board Chairman Prof. Yograj were also present in the meeting.
Board Exams for 3 Elective Subjects
In a tweet sent out from his official Twitter Account, Mr Sangla noted that the Punjab State Government keeps safety and health of the students as well as teachers, as its top priority while also considering the academic requirements. In his tweet, he also added that “Put forth my views on the Centre prioritizing safety & considering taking exams for only 3 elective subjects for class XII, during a virtual meeting with Union Ministers”.
Class 5, 8 and 10 Results Declared
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Punjab Board has already declared the PSEB Board Results 2021 for Class 5, Class 8 and Class 10 students. The Punjab Board Results 2021 for 8th and 10th Class students were announced by the board on 17th May, while Class 5 Results were declared on 24th May 2021. The Result of the students of Class 8 was prepared on the basis of continuous comprehensive evaluation (CCE) while the internal assessment was taken into consideration to announce the results of Class 10.
