According to media reports, the Rajasthan state government has approved the proposal to establish Ayurveda, Yoga, and Naturopathy Colleges in six districts in the state including Jaipur. Rajasthan State Health minister Raghu Sharma stated that the importance of Ayurveda has been proved during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the state government is making every effort to promote Ayurveda and develop the related facilities.
The minister stated that integrated colleges will be established in Jaipur, Kota, Sikar, Bikaner, and Bharatpur and the approval for the same has been given for the establishment of the Government College of Yoga and Naturopathy in Udaipur.
The minister further stated that with the establishment of the new colleges, new employment opportunities will be given to the educated youth in the state. The approval has also been given to create 778 new academic and non-academic posts in the colleges.
Rajasthan Board class 10 12 Exams Cancelled
The Rajasthan state government had earlier announced that the class 10 and 12 board examinations have been cancelled in the state owing to the COVID-10 pandemic situation in the state. According to the announcement made by the board, the class 10 and 12 students will be evaluated based on a new evaluation scheme which will be set by the board to promote the students. The officials have announced that the marking scheme and evaluation matrix for the promotion of the Rajasthan Board class 10 and 12 students would be notified by the board soon.
