The Class 12th examinations, conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), will end today. According to the time table released by the board earlier on the official website, the examinations of class 12 Rajasthan board commenced from 8th March 2018 and were scheduled to end on 2nd April 2018.
This year, a total of 8 lakh 26 thousand 570 students have registered for Class XII board examinations in which 5 lakhs 37 thousand and 259 are in stream of humanities, 42 thousand 665 in commerce and rest of them are in science stream.
The examination of Varishta Upadhyaya also started on March 8th in which 3,266 students have registered.
Keeping the growing problems of cheating the board officials have installed CCTV cameras at every sensitive and extra sensitive examination centre in the state. Control room at board office has started functioning. “We have also made 48 answer books collection centres and 12 sub collection centre in the state,” said an official.

The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan has been in existence since the year 1957, and is the sole regulatory and examination conducting body in the state of Rajasthan. Every year, around 15 lakh plus candidates registers for the Rajasthan Board examinations, which are considered for admission to undergraduate courses in the colleges.
More than 6000 secondary education and senior secondary education schools are affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan. The board under its jurisdiction conducts evaluation examinations through Secondary School Examination and Senior Secondary Examination. Apart from the school level examinations, BSER conducts science talent search examination and national talent search examination too. Board for the promotion of Sanskrit and cultural studies have a unique course structure in the form of Varishtha Upadhayay Parisksha at 10+2 level.
