REET Exam 2016 (Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers)

Rajasthan Board released notification for REET exam in November 2015. REET examination was successfully conducted in the month of February 2016 in two phases i.e Level 1, Level 2. The REET exam was held in the Rajasthan. Not only Rajasthan domicile but other states candidates also appeared for this exam

The state government which has organized REET exam for the selection for teachers has also playing safe by asking the candidates to submit an affidavit along with the application form stating that even after getting place in merit list, the candidate will not have the right to appointment.

There was a hurdle for state government to manage both eligibility test and appointment as the state education board is not authorized for selection and appointment to any post.

Under REET, the candidate has to submit an affidavit with the application stating that he had gone through the process as per the amended guidelines of National Council for Teachers' Education. He has to verify that he is eligible as per the qualifications asked for the REET exam and will produce original certificates and documents at the time of appointment.

The candidate has to also verify in the affidavit that he is aware that if he passed the REET exam and also got place in the merit, even then he does not get the right to appointment. Getting in the merit of REET is the minimum qualification for selection process.
