The Karnataka Board SSLC result 2018 has been declared on the official website, i.e. kseeb.kar.nic.in. Earlier, the board released a notification that they will announce the result on the official website kseeb.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in. The SSLC result 2018 of Karnataka board has been declared for the examinations that were conducted across 2817 examination centers across the state in the month of March. The examinations were held in two sessions, i.e. 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 5.15 pm. A total of 2.73% students did not appear in the examinations as per the state education board. Moreover, a total of 51 candidates were disqualified from appearing in the examination for indulging in unfair means.
More than 7 lakh students appeared for the Karnataka SSLC examinations, this year. The exams were conducted by KSEEB or Karnataka Board in the month of March. The KSEEB results are usually declared by the end of May but due to Karnataka Elections scheduled in the second week, the boards are planning to release the results sooner. There are 1202 Government Pre-University colleges, 637 Aided Pre-University colleges, 1936 Unaided Pre-University colleges, 165 bifurcated Pre-University colleges and 13 Corporation Pre-university colleges under Karnataka Pre University Education (PUE).
Today, the students will be able to log on to the official website i.e. karresults.nic.in and check their results, after the ceremonial unveiling of the results. Soon after the declaration of the results, supplementary exams are scheduled to be held in May. This year, students shall have to apply for revaluation online by paying fees. The Karnataka 2nd PUC exam result was also declared in April end. The Karnataka PUC examinations were held from 1st March 2018 till 16th March 2018. 'The decision of announcing the results by the end of April has been taken in the interests of the students so that they can pursue their higher studies and also, since Karnataka is likely to go for elections in the first week of May, we do not want to inconvenience the student community,' Star of Mysore quoted the Minister saying.

The department operates under the Department of Primary and Secondary Education of the state government and is entrusted the responsibility to develop higher education in Karnataka. The PUE Department, Karnataka also conducts the annual Karnataka 2nd PU Board Exam in the state.
