Tamil Nadu state level national talent search exam registration ends tomorrow, register now at dge.tn.gov.in

The Tamil Nadu state level NTSE will be conducted in November and the registration process is scheduled to finish by tomorrow. The students, who are studying in class 10, and intrigued to apply for the exam, can download the application shape from the official site dge.tn.gov.in and handover it to the Principal of the school alongside exam charges of Rs. 50. As informed by the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu as far as possible for application accommodation won't be stretched out at any cost. Exam charges ought to be kept in real money as it were.

Upon selection, aspirants will get grant scholarship of Rs. 1250 every month for class 11 to 12 and Rs. 2000 every month for undergrad and postgraduate courses. The grant sum for PhD will be settled as per UGC standards. ‘Students studying in Class X during 2018-19 in any recognized school are eligible to appear for the examination. The NMMS awardees also are allowed to appear for NTS Examination,' reads the notification.

This competitive examination would consist of two papers: Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Qualifying marks for candidates from SC/ST/PH category is 32% in each paper and for others categories it is 40% in each paper. A total of 233 candidates will be selected for the Tamil Nadu state level NTSE.
