12th Result 2018: The Tamil Nadu Board has declared the HSC +2 or Class 12th Results 2018 today on the official websites, i.e. www.tnresults.nic.in and dge1.tn.nic.in. The confirmation about the declaration of the Tamil Nadu HSC Result 2018 was made by the board officials. The students are advised to visit the board's official website www.tnresults.nic.in to check their Class 12th or HSC +2 result 2018. The HSC Class 12th exams were held in March by the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu, with about roughly 9 lakh student appearing for the exams. Last year, the overall pass percentage was 92.1 per cent, with the girls outperforming the boys.

This year, around 907620 registered for the Tamil Nadu HSC +2 Examinations 2018, out of which 860434 appeared for the examinations. This year, 4,00,179 boys and 4,60,255 girls appeared for the 12th TN examinations 2018 and no student appeared in the transgender category. The girls have outperformed boys by securing 94.1%. If we compare the data from last year, there is a decline in the number of students registering and appearing for the examination.

Last year, the results were declared on 12 May 2017; however, re-examinations were conducted in June/ July 2017 for the students who could not pass the exam. According to the reports, last year around 6,732 schools was affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Board and 1,813 had a 100 per cent pass rate. The TN Board HSC +2 Result 2018 will be declared by the Directorate of Government Examination, Tamil Nadu from their DPI Complex. Some reports have also hinted that Tamil Nadu Education Minister KA Sengottaiyan will officially release the 12th Result 2018 Tamil Nadu. The students can check their TN 12th Result 2018 on the official websites tnresults.nic.in and www.dge1.tn.nic.in.

While the Higher Secondary second-year exam or Tamil Nadu HSC +2 Examinations commenced from 1st March 2018, the Class 10th exams began on 16th March 2018. The Tamil Nadu Board Examination for Higher Secondary first-year students began on 7th March 2018. The board officials released a statement earlier which claimed that the ‘question papers will be issued to candidates at 10.00 a.m. Ten minutes will be provided for reading the question paper. Answer sheets will be issued at 10.10 a.m. Five minutes is provided to verify the printed particulars of the candidate concerned in the top sheet attached to the main answer book.'
