Chennai: Finally, the wait is over for students waiting for TN SSLC Results 2017 as the DGETN / TNBSE has declared the TN 10th Result 2017 today. The TN Results 2017 is made available to the students online on different websites including tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.nic.in. Students can also visit tamilnadu10.jagranjosh.com to find the direct link to TN SSLC Result 2017 page today.
Earlier, the TN SSLC Results’ declaration date was confirmed by the national informatics bureau website of the Tamil Nadu Board i.e. tnresults.nic.in, which had put up a notice which read that the “Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2017, will be announced on 19th May”. The notice further says that 10th class students will be able to receive Tamil Nadu SSLC Class 10 Results 2017 at 10 AM in the morning today.

Soon after the official declaration of the results, students can visit Tamil Nadu School Education Department official website to check their results, where they will be required to submit the essential information to view their SSLC 10th Results 2017. • Enter your hall ticket number and other important details

If the general trend is to be believed, the TN Board will take around 1-3 days to issue the original mark sheets for TN 10th Results 2017. Until then, students are advised to keep the online downloaded copy or printed copy of TN SSLC Result 2017 for future reference.
TN 10th Result - Past Performance
In 2016, a total of 10,23,566 students appeared for the Tamil Nadu Board 10th examination, of which 50.3 percent were boys and 49.7 percent were girl students. Last year, the TN 10th Board Result was declared on 25th May in which students of Tamil Nadu board scored a record 93.6 overall pass percentage. The segregated pass percentage of girls stood at 95.9 percent, way ahead of their counterparts i.e. the boys at 91.4 percent. Looking at the phenomenal performance of the students in the past, they are expected to surpass the last year’s success ratio and set a new benchmark for the next year.
