Chennai: If reports coming from Tamil Nadu State Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) are to be believed, the board has begun extensive preparations for the declaration of TN HSC Result 2016. TN Plus Two Results 2016 is now available on official website tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.nic.in.

If everything goes according to the plan announced by the TBSBSE, students will be able to check their Tamil Nadu HSC Result 2016 on 17 May 2016 by logging on the official website of the board i.e., tnresults.nic.in. In addition to this, students can also log on to our dedicated TN Board 12th result portal http://tamilnadu12.jagranjosh.com to latest news and updates about it.
For this year, the TNBSE HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) Exam was held in the month March / April. The TN Plus Two Exam began on 04 March 2016 with language paper and continued for almost a month; till 01 April 2016 when the last exam of Physics / Economics was held. Post the successful completion of Tamil Nadu 12th Exam, students have been patiently waiting for their TN 12th Class Result 2016.
This year, the board has gone an extra mile in ensuring that students do not face any unnecessary delays or encounter any technical problems while accessing the Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2016. Students, who are nervous about getting their TN 12th Result 2016 can have a look at the record of past year to get an idea of what to expect in this year’s result. Last year, the TN 12th Result was declared on 07 May 2015, in which outcome of yearlong hard work of 8,82,260 candidates was announced. The overall pass percentage in last year’s Tamil Nadu 12th Result was registered at a healthy 90.60%. In the traditional boys v girls rivalry, the latter emerged on top by quite a significant margin. The pass percentage of girl student was 93.40% whereas boys could manage to score only 87.5%. As per the data released by the TNSBSE, a total of 5,03,318 students secured first class by scoring beyond 60%.
Looking at the increased participation of students in this year’s exam, the TNSBSE is anticipating the success ratio to show notable improvement in the Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2016.
