TS Inter Results 2018: Telangana Inter 1st, 2nd year results declared, girls outperform boys

TS Inter Result 2018:  The students, who were waiting for the Telangana Intermediate Results 2018 can heave a sigh of relief. The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has declared the results of TS Inter Results 2018 today at around 9 AM. The Telangana Education Minister and chairman of Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, Kadiyam Srihari, declared the results of the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) Intermediate First Year Results on Friday, April 13, 2018. This year, girls outperformed boys in both Inter 1st and 2nd Year Examinations.

Now that the Telangana Intermediate Results are out, the candidates can check the results on the official website of the board i.e bie.telangana.gov.in. The Telangana Intermediate First Year Exams were held from February 28 to March 17 while the Second Year Exams were held from March 1 to March 19 at around 1,294 centres across the state by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE). The overall pass percentage for Telangana first year exam is 62% and for second year it is 67%. This year, 4,15,840 appeared in the TS Inter 1st year examination out of which 2,11,744 were girls and 2,03,622 were boys. The total number of pass percentage stood at 62% (68.85% girls and 56.36% boys). On the other hand, over 4.29 lakh students appeared for the Telangana Inter Second Year Examination in 2018, around 2.88 lakh have cleared the exam which culminated into overall pass percentage of 67.06%.

This year, approximately, 9.63 lakh candidates appeared for both Telangana Intermediate First and Second Year Examinations of which nearly 4.36 lakh candidates are from the first year. More than 25,395 invigilators were deputed along with 1,294 chief superintendents and 1,294 departmental officers.

Last year, more than 4.70 lakh students took part in the Telangana Intermediate First Year Examinations in 2017 and the overall pass percentage was over 56 per cent. More than 4 lakh students had appeared in the Telangana Intermediate Second Year Examination last year and the overall pass percentage was over 66 per cent.
