TN HSC Result 2019: The success story of G Sahana – a 17 year old girl from Tamil Nadu which depicts her fighting all the odds to achieve her dream has become an inspiration for all the students who are expecting their Board Result 2019. Despite losing her home to Cyclone Gaja, G Sahana – a 17 year old girl secured 87.30 per cent in the recently announced Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2019. Sahana hails from Peravurani village in Thanjavur district and belongs to a poor family. She has managed to score a total of 524 marks out of 600 in the board exams i.e. 87.30% marks. She wants to join a medical college after Class 12 and aspires to become a doctor.
Prior to Cyclone Gaja, life was already difficult for Sahana, who lived in a thatched hut built inside a coconut grove. She lived with her parents and an elder sister in a hut provided by the coconut grove owner. The hut was destroyed in the Cyclone Gaja. According to media reports, Sahana was very science students and use to complete her homework and studies in the school itself, after completion of the classes, as there was no electricity available at her home. At home, her study schedule began early morning, as soon as the sun was up every morning. But, after losing their hut in the Cyclone Gaja, the family somehow managed to find another place with help of friends and family members.
Overcoming Challenges With help of Well-wishers
Her hard life prior to Cyclone Gaja had prepared for her and kept her ready to tackle and overcome any challenges that came along the way in her journey to success in HSC Exam 2019. For her Class 12 exam, she had opted for Biology and Mathematics as part of her subjects for the HSC Exam 2019. Currently, she is preparing for the upcoming NEET 2019 Medical Entrance Exam. She is preparing for the exam on her own at home, as she doesn’t have the money to seek help of a coaching centre. She has thanked her teachers and friends for helping her get the necessary study material required to crack NEET 2019.
Talking about her role model, Sahana shared that her elder sister, who is currently pursuing M.Sc, has been a guide to her. She also added that that actor Sivakarthikeyan mentioned in a tweet that he would help her to pursue her studies. With all the help that is around, she is hoping that she will be able to clear NEET 2019 and join a good medical college.
