Tripura Schools Closed for Classes 1 and 2, Students of standard 5 and above will have regular classes

Tripura Schools Closed: On Thursday, the government of Tripura ordered that the schools in the state will be closed for the students of classes 1 and 2. The schools will remain shut down from 9th April 2021 till further information. The Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath stated that the students of classes 3rd and 4th have to attend schools on alternate days whereas the classes for the students of class 5 and above will remain open. Apart from schools, the regular college classes will continue in Tripura and the hostels will remain open.

As per the tweet, “In view of the recent COVID-19 spread, it has been decided that classes 1 and 2 will remain closed from April 9, 2021, till further order. And Classes 3 and 4 will remain open only on alternative days. Rest all classes, hostels and colleges will remain functional as it is.”  

Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has already released the board exam dates of class 10th and 12th for both the old and new course students. The Tripura Board class 10th exams will be held from 19th May to 4th June whereas the class 12th exams will be held from 18th May to 11th June. The Board has also published the  Madrasa class 10th (Alim) and class 12th (Fazil) exam schedules.
